As the curtains close on the second weekend of Blue Beetle’s cinematic journey, the box office numbers have been tallied, shedding light on its performance. Domestically, the film garnered $12.76 million over the course of the three-day weekend, reflecting a 49% decline compared to its opening weekend. This brings the film’s cumulative domestic earnings to $46.3 million.

For context, The Flash, another superhero film, amassed $15.14 million during the same three-day period, while Aquaman secured an impressive $52.11 million in the equivalent timeframe. The former continued its run to attain a domestic total of $108.13 million, while the latter garnered a substantial $335.06 million.

On the international front, Blue Beetle’s overseas ventures garnered $10 million, resulting in a revised foreign total of $35.5 million. With these additions, the film’s global earnings now stand at $81.8 million.

Drawing parallels with the earlier comparisons, The Flash’s foreign box office revenues amounted to $160.03 million throughout its theatrical journey, culminating in a worldwide sum of $268.16 million. Meanwhile, Aquaman demonstrated remarkable success in foreign markets, reaping $808.69 million and achieving an astounding global total of $1.143 billion.
